The event has been organized to help people understand the importance of birds around us. The bird walk will enable everyone to observe birds and listen to their melodious calls early morning. Participants are requested to follow the guidelines for this session.

• Participants aged 6+ are invited to join this bird walk
• Participants must remain quite during the session to observe maximum birds and listen to their calls. Any questions during the bird Walk are welcome.
• Participants to wear clothes in earth tones such green, brown or tans that easily blend with the environment.
• Participants can carry water bottles with them.
• Participants can carry their monocular, binoculars and cameras during the birding session.
• Participants can carry their field guides.
• Participants must come well in time to make maximum out of this first of its kind initiative in Amritsar.

More about the event organizer : I have been regularly birding for 7-8 years now and I am an active member of Punjab Bird Club. I am member of the team that conducts the annual bird census at Harike Wetlands in Punjab. I have had interactive Sessions on birds and wildlife at several schools and colleges.
