Anubhuti with nature
Anubhuti – Young Birder Month Program
On 1 November, Anubhuti, an initiative by Shri Sanjeeva Sanskriti Foundation, invites children and families to a special session for Young Birder Month. The program has a film screening that brings nature and the lives around us closer, followed by a storytelling session that sparks curiosity about birds, trees and our shared world.
Through stories and visuals, we hope young minds learn to observe, wonder and care for the living world around them.
Anubhuti: Relearning care for our shared world.

Post-Event Summary
Young Birder Month – Learning About Cattle Egret
During the session, we talked about the Cattle Egret and its special characteristics. We explored why it is often seen around cattle, how it finds its food, and what makes this bird unique.
The most enjoyable part was listening to the children share their own observations. They excitedly named different birds they had seen around their homes and surroundings. Some of them even shared birds that I hadn’t expected them to know!
It was lovely to see how much children notice about nature when they get an opportunity to talk about it. The conversation was full of curiosity, questions, little discoveries and laughter.
Honestly, interacting with these young birders was so much fun! Every child had something interesting to share, and their excitement made the entire learning experience special.
Young Birder Month is not just about introducing children to birds; it is also about listening to their experiences and encouraging them to observe the nature around them with fresh eyes.
