The event has been organized to help people understand the importance of birds around us. The bird walk will enable everyone to observe the birds and listen to their melodious calls early in the morning.

What to expect

• The “Bird Walk” session with the students will begin at 7:00 AM.
• This walk would be the yardstick for the students to get a close visual of nature.
• We will be ending it with another brief session about “Know Your Birds” would sensitize them to know the local birds in their vicinity.

Participants are requested to follow few guidelines for this session:

• Participants must remain quite during the session to observe maximum birds and listen to their calls.
• Any questions during the Bird Walk are welcome, however talking softly will be appreciated.
• Participants can carry water bottles with them.
• Participants can carry their monocular, binoculars and cameras during the birding session.
• Participants can carry their field guides.
• Participants must come well in time to make the maximum out of this first of its kind initiative in Ferozpur.
