Aaranyak, in collaboration with Wipro Earthian, has launched a month-long learning initiative on birdwatching titled ‘Chirp O’Clock’, aimed at inspiring citizen action for sustainability. The programme has been introduced to commemorate the 129th birth anniversary of Dr. Salim Ali, the ‘Birdman of India’.

The Environment Education and Capacity Building Division (EECBD) of Aaranyak has taken the lead in this initiative as part of the Young Birders’ Month (YBM). The event commenced on 12th November across three districts of Assam (Jorhat, Golaghat, Karbi Anglong)  and will continue until December.
